Returning to Carrie Able Gallery after her residency in the summer of 2023, Laura Cleary Williams presents her latest series of monochromatic works in "Unveiled."
In her own words, Williams describes her paintings as tracing "the boundaries of my imagination," with each piece being "a collection of choices that are alive together." Inspired by abstract expressionism, her work exudes a delicate yet powerful energy, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the intricate layers of her creations.
Curated by Calli Mirales, "Unveiled" delves into the complexities of relationships and human emotions. Through her art, Williams bares her soul, exploring the turbulence of emotions experienced during times of uncertainty. Her drawings serve as a reflection of the intangible nuances of identity and relationships, encouraging viewers to contemplate their own journeys.
