I am a Nova Scotian artist and designer that loves to create visuals that are youthful and exciting while grounded in the age-old tradition of visual storytelling. I have been illustrating for as long as I can remember and designing professionally for the past three years. My work is often influenced by religious and folk imagery, tattooing, and the nature I'm surrounded by on my family farm. While I always seem to be drawn to experimentation, whether it's painting with gouache, rug making, or animation, I feel most confident and at-home in my art when I simply sit in my bed, grab some pens, and draw whatever comes to mind. At the heart of everything I create is self-expression, and the desire to foster an environment where others find the confidence to create their own art.
