We are thrilled to announce the open call for AQ Quarterly Catalog For Extraordinary Women Artists Volume IV! This is a fantastic opportunity for contemporary women and non-binary artists to showcase their work in a beautifully designed, collectible publication.
About AQ
AQ is dedicated to celebrating the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary artists in the contemporary art world. Each volume of AQ Books is a hardcover edition that features up to 50 artists, carefully selected by our founder, Ekaterina Popova, and occasional guest curators.
How to Participate
We invite you to submit your artwork for consideration in our forthcoming volume. All visual art media are accepted, and the theme is open. Selected artists will be featured in a 4-page full-color spread, which includes three artwork images, a headshot, contact information, and a brief artist bio. Additionally, each selected artist will receive an exclusive interview and a social media post to promote their work to our followers, readers, curators, and art lovers.
Submission Details
- Deadline: June 30, 2024
- Finalists Announcement: August 2024
- Publication One Time Fee (if selected): $70, to support the design, distribution, and advertising of the publication
What to Expect
Our guest curators will review all submissions carefully. Due to the high volume of entries, it may take 1-3 months after the deadline to finalize the selections. We understand that waiting can be challenging, but please be patient during this process.
