Nathie Katzoff Gallery KT Hancock

KT Hancock is famed for the complex merging of steel with delicate blown glass. Her signature pieces are larger-than-life jewels and gems, made of glass. At the Open House in April, she will be displaying new wall-hung jewel pieces with a special neon glow.

Nathie Katzoff is well-known for his sculptural functional art in wood - large complex staircases for the rich and famous, and luxury wooden baths. Since Covid, he had time to pursue his passion for creating abstract works in cast and fused glass. His Glass Murals are typically three or four feet high by five to seven feet long. The surface is not flat, but undulates and ripples with texture - and they sit about eight inches off the wall on which they are hung.

The pieces reflect different hues of light onto the wall, and can be backlit with LED lighting for stunning effects. They are fluid, organic representations of the ever-changing condition of Nature and our environment. Katzoff is inspired by the oceans and forests of the PNW.
