Kohlben Vodden is a British/Australian self-taught artist living and working in London, England. Focusing on abstract figurative works in oil, he uses an intense color palette and bold geometric style to command attention and captivate the mind. Inspired by Neuroaesthetics–an experimental field of psychology that seeks to understand how the brain decodes beauty–the series “Engineered Pleasure” explores themes of identity and beauty. While a newcomer to the professional art world, starting his professional artistic journey during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, his work has recently been included in gallery exhibitions in Milan, Abu Dhabi, and London.
