Artist Statement

Central to my paintings lie the experiences I've gathered in life. I channel my emotions into colors, shapes, and memory sketches, drawing a parallel between my feelings and real-life encounters. Despite the diversity of our world and humanity, we all tell stories uniquely, even when observing the same flower. Our emotions are a product of our upbringing and personal interpretation of life. I believe nature and the human spirit heighten our senses. I use my emotional connections as a way of coping with life's challenges by molding them into my personal story. Sometimes, my paintings serve as therapeutic sessions on canvas, helping me deal with anxiety or loss. By translating intangible thoughts and feelings into paint on canvas, I create a coded diary that spans years of my artistic journey.

The circle of destruction and renewal is a fundamental concept in nature, where life emerges from death and destruction. This pattern is not limited to the natural world alone but also manifests in human life. We experience hardships, struggles, and obstacles that often seem insurmountable, but eventually, we overcome them and emerge stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

In my artwork, I choose to focus on the beauty of hope and the birth of new beginnings. Hope is a powerful force that can sustain us even in the darkest of times. In my art, I strive to capture fragments of this beauty, akin to a glimmer of light at the end of a long, dark tunnel. I use colors, shapes, and textures to express the cyclical nature of life and the hope that lies within it.

Through my artwork, I want to inspire people to look beyond their current circumstances and find hope in the promise of renewal. Every ending brings with it the possibility of a new beginning, and every obstacle is an opportunity for growth and transformation.

In a world that can often feel bleak and overwhelming, it's essential to hold onto hope and remember that even in the midst of destruction, there is always the potential for renewal. My artwork serves as a reminder of this truth and a celebration of the beauty that emerges from it.
