Statement

My collages embody the idea of getting stuck in a daydream and losing touch with reality. I enjoy creating juxtaposition within my work, focusing on the pairing of the unconventional in order to amplify elements which might go un-noticed otherwise. This method of context-stripping aims to generate a smile in the mind of the viewer through themes of surrealism, satire and escapism.

My work is sporadic, meaning that no collage is planned prior to creation, ensuring ideas flow spontaneously as I go. My work is dedicated to prolonging the lifespan of the used and unwanted, and turning them into striking and memorable pieces of art.
