PIERMARQ* is excited to showcase Andrew Salgado’s first exhibition at the Sydney gallery, titled GOOD THINGS. Salgado’s signature impasto technique and layered inspiration from art, travel, music, literature, and poetry create a unique visual language in each painting. The pieces capture ordinary domestic moments and turn them into fantastical escapes through the use of vibrant colors and exotic elements. The exhibition runs from April 27th to May 21st and features works that capture quiet, dark, and intimate moments, leaving the interpretation open to the viewer. Salgado’s powerful, figurative work has been sold out in over 15 international solo exhibitions, including London, New York, Toronto, and Tokyo.
