Erin Friedman is an abstract artist living and working just outside of Washington, DC in Bethesda, Maryland.

She has always been captivated by the experience of creating art. Using mixed media, Erin’s work is the accumulation of feelings and experiences with her environment that form organic colors and shapes that she interacts with on canvas. While painting, she builds her compositions through methods of abstraction to create a final image that is free from formal structure and is open to interpretation. Erin is passionate about the effect art has within a space and how it creates an emotion with each viewer.

Erin also has illustration experience and developed whimsical patterns while working for brands that include Warner Brothers, Mars Retail, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Smithsonian Institution, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

When she's not creating, she is chasing after her 3 energetic young children, Max, Silas and Ozzie.
