Los Angeles based artist, Drica Lobo’s latest exhibit, “Decoding the Flow”, will open to the public beginning on Saturday, August 29th, 2020. Hosted by Shockboxx Project, the opening reception will virtually take place from 6-8pm via Zoom in Hermosa Beach, CA.

A native to Sao Paulo, Brazil, Drica has called Hermosa Beach her home for more than a decade. Her vibrant artwork and paintings have become well-known throughout the South Bay for perfectly capturing the beauty of our beach cities.

“Decoding the Flow” is an interactive experience honoring the connection with all living things, exploring the hidden sync that bonds us. For this exhibit, Drica presents an experimental new body of work, flipping her distinctive, colorful style in surprising new ways.

“My idea isn’t about beliefs or religion, it’s about our state of being. Fueled by my passion for mystic and everyday beauty, this exhibition aims to bridge the world of perception to the world of mystery with a playful, dynamic flow and immersive art installation.”

The local community, as well as the press, are invited to explore Drica's latest work during the virtual opening of “Decoding the Flow” on August 29th via Zoom from 6-8pm. The show runs through September 12th at Shockboxx in Hermosa Beach, located at 636 Cypress Ave. For members of the media, Drica and Shockboxx can be reached directly at sayhello@dricalobo.com and Mike Collins mike@shockboxxproject.com.
