I was born in Cardiff, Wales where I gained my high school education before moving to Norwich, England. I completed college and I was able to go to university in Bristol, England. I have loved art, music, film, performance, photography and fashion since I was a kid. My experiences of trauma, addiction and mental health difficulties have intertwined with the dreams, hopes and visions I've had of my own life in a way that has given me personal insight into a world I've come to understand only with age. It is my efforts to capture lived experiences and the things that I have little knowledge of that has kept me committed to the creative life.

Statement

In my work I aim to support the viewer in navigating consciousness. I advocate exploration of mood, feeling, memory and lived events through creativity and art. I encourage all to find the means to live positively. These three principles have aided my ability to embrace, endure and recover in my life. Love, fun, experimentation, and action are guides to my work.

Body and mind journey forward in time as they seek adventure, refuge, or change. We can lose ourselves in the process. By familiarising ourselves with what we know we can discover new ways of mapping our lives, the terrain of our experiences.
