I generally work on canvas, painting snippets of conversations and scenarios, I write and make books, taking inspiration from the people and world around me, the words are incorporated into bigger works.

I love parlor games and old wives’ tales, overheard stories, and the proverbial wisdom of the superstition. There’s a real beauty in stories handed down from generation to generation, words of advice as we make the same mistakes, repeat the same heartbreaks, and share the same love and joy.

The canvas pieces are stitched together in a patchwork of image and thoughts to gently tell a story, relatable to us all.
