Bio

London-based artist Elizabeth Anne Wright graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in London with a BA (Hons) in Drawing. During her studies, she exhibited in various group shows around London and at the Leeds International Artists’ Book Fair. She subsequently studied for a BA (Hons) in Interior Design at KLC School of Design in London.

Since graduation from Camberwell College of Arts, Wright has continued to make artworks whilst working full-time in finance. Following her graduation from KLC School of Design, she joined a small design firm working on a range of high-end residential and commercial projects. Currently she is focussing on her art full-time.

Statement

Wright’s works feature primarily on paper using a variety of media such as pencil, ink, acrylic and found printed media. Wright creates intuitive and playful works of art. Work is composed through the layering and careful placement of shapes, colours and mark making.
