ARTXCODE is pleased to present The Digital, a curated generative art salon during Miami Art Week from Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5 on the second floor of 1212 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL. The exhibition is made possible through the generous support of Art Blocks and MoonPay with considerable contributions from Bacardi, Upshot, 6529, Cyber, Fingerprints DAO, Starry Night Capital, and AC Collection.

The Digital is an unparalleled exhibition curated by Sofia Garcia—founder and curator of ARTXCODE, along with generative art collector and newly-appointed Chief of Staff at Art Blocks, Kate Hannah. This one-of-a-kind salon will uniquely present the work of 20 emerging and established artists to highlight the breadth, diversity, and applications of generative art. By bridging the gap between art and code, The Digital celebrates the unprecedented trajectory of computer programming in visual art and directs public awareness to the expanding NFT market.

What distinguishes The Digital is the prioritization of artwork that is both digitally-native and code-based. With the support of Art Blocks, ARTXCODE is committed to amplifying generative art within the lens of fine art. Apart from prioritizing digitally-native artwork, The Digital—with the support of MoonPay—offers an approachable experience for the traditional art collector. By cultivating a space for both tech-savvy and traditional art connoisseurs, The Digital creates a neutral ground for an accessible—yet elevated—translation of the new art world.

The Digital presents artworks by leading generative artists including: Aaron, Penne, Aaron Penne × Boreta, Alexis André, Ansh Kumar, Casey Reas, Dmitri Cherniak, Hideki Tsukamoto, IX Shells, Jake Rockland, Jason Ting, Jeff Davis, Kayla Torres, Matt DesLauriers, Michael Connolly, Minne Atairu, Monica Rizzolli, Sarah Ridgley, Snowfro, Stefano Contier, and Tyler Hobbs.

Stand-out artworks on view include:

● A holographic artwork presentation of Chromie Squiggle by Erick Calderon, a.k.a. Snowfro, founder and CEO of Art Blocks

● Projected installation from the co-founder of Processing, Casey Reas

● Framed digital artwork from the leading female generative artist, IX Shells

● Curated grid of Ringers by Dmitri Cherniak

About ARTXCODE

ARTXCODE is an experimental art house specializing in algorithmic art and blockchain strategies for creatives. Since 2019, ARTXCODE has prioritized bridging the gap between fine art and blockchain by onboarding both artists and collectors into the ecosystem via exhibition, special projects, and private sales. About Art Blocks

Art Blocks is a first-of-its-kind platform focused on genuinely programmable on-demand generative content that is stored immutably on the Ethereum Blockchain. You pick a style that you like, pay for the work, and a randomly generated version of the content is created by an algorithm and sent to your Ethereum account. The resulting piece might be a static image, 3D model, or an interactive experience. Each output is different and there are endless possibilities for the types of content that can be created on the platform. Visit artblocks.io for more information.

About MoonPay

MoonPay launched in 2019 with a simple aim: increase cryptocurrency adoption. Its on-and-offramp suite of products provides a seamless experience for converting between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies using all major payment methods including debit and credit card, local bank transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Revealing its strong presence in the NFT revolution, the company was recently featured in the new Post Malone music video “One Right Now” in which the artist uses MoonPay to buy a Bored Ape. The barrier for buying NFTs still remains high, which is why MoonPay released its industry-first NFT checkout solution through which users can purchase an NFT instantly with a credit or debit card. It also recently launched MoonPay Concierge, a service specifically tailored for highprofile individuals like artists, musicians, actors, athletes, and others who want to purchase their first NFT.
