Nathan Perry was born in 1986 in South Jordan, Utah. In 2011 he earned a BFA in Painting from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts where he was presented with the “Excellence in Painting Award” and went on to earn his MFA in Painting from Indiana University Bloomington in 2014. His work has been shown in various group exhibitions across the US—from Utah to New York and Connecticut. Perry has also instructed courses in drawing and painting at many institutions throughout the Midwest and the South, including the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Manifest Drawing Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since graduating from school Nathan has been living semi-nomadically with his wife, Christina Weaver, and currently lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Starkville, Mississippi.
