Jesse Ng is an artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Her body of work is interested in placing our daily perspective of objects and landscapes out of context and into sculptural imagery. Her paintings and drawings stems from a fascination with geological diagrams and scientific illustration. She combines the objectivity of the scientific diagram with the emotional language with strokes and lines. The concept of galactic space and landscape is a recurring theme where it is condensed into still life objects and cross sections, subverting the expansive world into pieces of observation that mirrors the human need for control.
